Acoustical measurent in real environment
Mach, Václav ; Mačák, Jaromír (referee) ; Míča, Ivan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis discusses the issue of acoustical measurement. There are dierent signals described, which are used for this purposes, both MLS and esweep, compared their advantages and disadvantages and made some practical demonstrations of impulse response measurement. Furthermore, the fundamentals of reberbation time measurement are described in theory. The practical part of this thesis consists of the measurement application, written in the C++ language and mainly targeted for Linux systems. Qt multiplatform toolkit has been utilized for the GUI part.
Implementation of time-variant convolution processor
Brhel, Tomáš ; Vrba, Kamil (referee) ; Balík, Miroslav (advisor)
In this thesis there is a design of universal time-variant convolution FIR processor. Proposed algorithm is ready to process long signals with reduced process delay. Furthermore, there are proposed methods for smooth crossfade between different impulse responses. Algorithm is implemented in Matlab environment and later as a VST plugin.
Modelling of closed space acousticsby the beam method
Ryšavý, Marek ; Orlovský, Kristián (referee) ; Trzos, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor thesis describes the modeling of room acoustics using the ray tracing method. The first chapter deals with a general description of the basic properties of acoustic environment (wave acoustics, statistical acoustics and geometric acoustics). Then are described methods of calculating geometrical acoustics (image-source method, ray-tracing method and beam-tracing method). In the second chapter of this work is described in detail ray tracing methods and algorithm for calculate room acoustic using this method.
Design of Reverberator for Room Acoustics Simulation
Húserka, Jozef ; Orlovský, Kristián (referee) ; Kurc, David (advisor)
This thesis deals with artificial simulation of acoustic spaces by using reverberators. Output of this document consists of four reverberation algorithms and function that evaluates objective parameters of acoustic space from impulse responses. Reverberators and script were implemented using Matlab. Graphical user interface is used to present all of the algorithms for easier usability. First chapter deals with objective parameters of acoustic spaces and the ways they are computed from impulse response. Second chapter describes various structures which are used to build reverberators. Those structures are used in third chapter in implementations of reverberators. Third chapter also compares all implemented reverberators . In last chapter experiment was made. Impulse responses of three spaces were measured and subsequently aproximated by algorithms implemented in this thesis.
Implemetation of FIR sound processor with minimal processing latency
Brhel, Tomáš ; Frenštátský, Petr (referee) ; Balík, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of the universal FIR processor for long signals processing. Subsequently, it focuses on processing of the two-channel input signal and the reduction of the process delay. Matlab and framework JUCE are used as an interactive environment for algorithm development.
Set of Web-Based Demonstrations for Signal Processing
Kaňok, Tomáš ; Jančík, Zdeněk (referee) ; Černocký, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to give a basic overview about convolutions and complex exponential functions used in signal processing. Additionally, it contains the list of existing public educationally-oriented solutions available on the Internet. Set of web-based demonstrations for signal processing is proposed, implemented and evaluated upon analyzed solutions.
Research for enclosed spaces impulse response influence on the auditory perception
Kišac, Matej ; Kurc, David (referee) ; Orlovský, Kristián (advisor)
This thesis deals with the acoustics of enclosed spaces and psychoacoustics. The first part is based on theoretical information about main structure of room acoustics and we concentrate on impulse response of the room. Next part is directed to the description of connection between basic parameters and room impulse response and their properties. These properties may be evaluated by means of methods processed in the third portion. Then we briefly focus on the panning process. The following section offers the knowledge acquired in the simulations of selected parameters(spacious impression, clarity, intimacy). In conclusion, it contains a solution of algorithm to simplify the generation of impulse response and comparison of objective parameters of my algorithm and the image method.
Testing of room acoustics
Toufarová, Tereza ; Špalek, Karel (referee) ; Sigmund, Milan (advisor)
This paper presents parameters of evaluation of acoustic quality of the space. It is divided into parts presenting physical principle of the origin and movement of the acoustic signal, principles of its processing with current technology and properties of the acoustic field. This is followed by an analysis of the musical part and notes on psychoacoustics. The document contains a description of relevant parameters of acoustic spaces and way in which we can reach desired results, including material analysis. The paper mainly focuses on description of relevant parameters of three acoustic spaces which were measured. The last part of the work is a program for elementary acoustical measurement, which can be provided by means of commonly accessible equipment such as a notebook or a personal computer.
Time Varying Filters for ECG Signals
Peterek, Jan ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Kozumplík, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this master’s thesis is to create a multiband stop derived from Lynn filters for suppressing mains hum and baseline variation (drift). The first part of the thesis is focused on brief theoretical introduction to the distortion types affecting ECG signal and twelve lead connection. The following practical part describes free realizations of ECG filter and ECG signal filtration. The filter has been tested both on distorted and on non-distorted signal. Finally filters’ error rate was computed from CSE database signals.
Fractional order LTI SISO systems modelling using generalized Laguerre functions
Kárský, Vilém ; Tůma, Martin (referee) ; Jura, Pavel (advisor)
This paper concentrates on the description of fractional order LTI SISO systems using generalized Laguerre functions. There are properties of generalized Laguerre functions described in the paper, and an orthogonal base of these functions is shown. Next the concept of fractional derivatives is explained. The last part of this paper deals with the representation of fractional order LTI SISO systems using generalized Laguerre functions. Several examples were solved to demonstrate the benefits of using these functions for the representation of LTI SISO systems.
